Download the alpha

RenderCache v0.1.0-alpha.1 is available for Linux amd64. It is an evaluation alpha. The standalone executable needs a separately installed, maintained Chrome or Chromium; the repository’s Dockerfile installs Chromium in its runtime image.

Release notes and matching source tag are on GitHub. The engine is licensed under Apache 2.0. Its binary archive includes dependency notices, a sample configuration, and deployment instructions.

Verify before extracting

Download the archive and checksum file into the same directory, then run:

sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS
tar -xzf rendercache_0.1.0-alpha.1_linux_amd64.tar.gz
./rendercache version

The published archive’s SHA-256 is:

dd5113ffc26c72e2830d3765448a1da67ae931779d55f8382d54a5f15d770b1b

The archive was checked through deterministic rebuilding and an extracted-executable smoke test with real Chrome. Release gates also exercised race-enabled Go tests, the Chromium container, nginx routing and Cloudflare request logic. The container test explicitly disabled Chrome’s sandbox inside an isolated test environment; it does not prove sandbox compatibility on your host.

Continue with the quickstart. Other operating systems, other architectures, and a published container-registry image are not part of this release.
